After literally years of preparation, the first five IONA studio albums are finally available ON VINYL, both in box set format and as individual album releases!!! There are two distinct versions: in standard black vinyl and also in limited edition coloured vinyl.

THE IONA VINYL BOX SET - what’s in the box?

Vinyl lovers of the world can be united in enjoying legendary Celtic Progressive Rock Band IONA’s first five iconic studio albums which are FINALLY available on vinyl for the first time. This Limited Edition box set contains DOUBLE vinyl editions of the classic Iona studio albums Iona, The Book Of Kells, Beyond These Shores, Journey Into The Morn & Open Sky.

Each DOUBLE album was specially mastered for vinyl by Nigel Palmer (recording and mix engineer on several of the original IONA recordings) and approved by Dave Bainbridge, pressed on 180 gram, heavyweight vinyl, with stunning newly designed artwork (project design and sleeve concepts by Dave Bainbridge, with layout and artwork by Mike Inns) and bonus tracks not included on the original CD releases.

All of which brings these astonishing albums to life and gives the listener a wonderful, immersive experience.

If that wasn't enough, each box set includes a 72-page hardback book, ‘The Studio Files’, a visual time capsule collated by Iona co-founder Dave Bainbridge and beautifully laid out by designer Mike Inns. Featuring photos of recently rediscovered handwritten lyrics, studio track sheets, letters and notes from the time of each album, this book uniquely gives you insights into what the band were thinking and intending with each release.

Also in the box is a numbered certificate hand-signed by Dave Bainbridge.
