As leader of Cult Folk/Rock group 'Youslosh' in the late eighties, he pushed the boundries and has continued to do so appearing in crazily diverse musical projects .

He is a core member of acclaimed Celtic/Rock band 'Iona' ( Q' Magazine best Folk album band ) joining "officially" in 1995 having been a guest on the bands first three albums.

His first Solo album "The Unseen Stream" released in 1998, was critically acclaimed globally ( to quote: "The world of the pipes will never be the same again…!" ) for its unique fusion of Traditional/Classical forms.

His second solo album 'In Pursuit of Illusion', released on his own 'Lantern Music' label in 2003 features acclaimed violinist Peter Knight and the choral group Cantores and continues to push the boundaries of both the English folk and classical traditions.
