SONGS FOR LUCA UPDATE - JANUARY 2005

Hello! We wanted to contact you and wish you a Happy New Year for 2005 but also to update you about Songs for Luca and of course Luca as well!

In February our dream is realised..... Dave, Debbie, Luca and Evie and a friend Pat are off to the Autism Treatment Center of America to do the Intensive Son-Rise Course. This has only been made possible by your donation of music/manufacture/artwork to the Songs for Luca cd. So THANK YOU.

We are really excited about this trip, we have been on the waiting list for 13months and now it is only a few weeks away! Not only has the cd raised enough for this trip, but we have also had 3 home outreach visits from our Son-Rise teacher Sean, and monthly telephone consultations for Debbie.

Luca is amazing - slowly but surely he is coming out of his autism. He is a star and it is very exciting and encouraging. Our journey with him continues and we will continue to fundraise to enable us to keep his Son-Rise programme going for as long as it needs to. His progress has had a huge impact not just on Luca's life but our family too. Professionals who have monitored his progress from before we began his Son-Rise are "gob-smacked", "amazed" and "impressed", by the difference in him.

Thank you doesn't seem adequate but what else can we say you are helping make a big difference in a wonderful little boy's life. Many thanks also to those of you who pray for us and Luca this too is making a huge difference - please don't stop!
